Los Embajadores was a fantastic program that our school was able to be involved with. In the past we had gone through another organization, but the lack of contact with the local folks was a huge weakness. Considering an immersion experience is about getting to know the reality of the people's lives wherever you go, we were disappointed to not have that interaction in prior years. However, with Los Embajadores we were able to have quality interactions with many folks from the local area. We not only were able to spend multiple days with some folks, thereby developing deeper relationships, but were also able to visit many sites to see many different realities. The response of the students was amazing. They were deeply moved by the generosity of the folks who welcomed them, and awed by the kindness and happiness that exuded from these "less fortunate" people. Truly our students' lives have been changed in a very meaningful way.
