Estimated Expenses

The following is a projection of the expenses your group will incur on your Los Embajadores experience. It is based on the experience of a variety of participating groups during the past few years. Expenses will vary depending on the distance you must travel, the size of your group, the cost of food, gas and lodging enroute, and whether you need to rent vehicles or the group can provide its own.

FEES TO LOS EMBAJADORES for 2008-09:

	Groups within the Archdiocese of Portland	$4,500
	Other groups	$5,000
NOTE: The above fees are for 2008-09. This fee allows for a group of up to 30 participants (we ask for a minimum of 15). The cost for groups within the Portland Archdiocese has been subsidized for many years by a grant to the program.

OTHER GROUP EXPENSES: (Expenses vary greatly depending on mode of transportation and group size.)
		Airfare (if flying into San Diego or Los Angeles)
		Van rental (2 or 3 vans or 4-6 mini vans or a combo of the two)
		Van liability insurance
		Gas and oil
		Food while traveling or special meal out in Mexico
		Mexican Insurance for vans
		Office supplies (stamps, publicity, etc.)
		Photography (Most groups bring 1 or 2 digital cameras, then make a photo cd for each member of the group)
		Misc. supplies (first aid, luggage rack, etc.)

On average, total expenses for one group range between $14,500-$17,000.
