Los Embajadores Staff Volunteers

Los Embajadores staff volunteers Steph and Courtney share a meal with the Perez-Garcia family in Vicente Guerrero

At each of our sites, the Los Embajadores program is coordinated by staff volunteers.
Volunteers are needed during:

  • Spring Break- for one or two weeks. This year spring break falls on the third week of March. (March 22-29)

    or

  • Summer- for 4-8 weeks between June 1 - August 1.

Los Embajadores staff volunteers should be self-motivated, enthusiastic leaders who are interested in serving in a challenging yet fulfilling environment as facilitators of an international service learning experience. Volunteers must have strong Spanish language skills, (conversational or better) and should be culturally sensitive individuals, preferably with experience living in a developing country. They should feel comfortable participating in a faith-based program. Los Embajadores hopes to recruit volunteers who are 21 years of age and older, to ensure an appropriate age and maturity gap between staff and participants.

If you are interested in volunteering with Los Embajadores, please read through the information on this site, including volunteer basics, then go to the staff volunteer application.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us

Each day of this summer presented me with the opportunity to learn and grow not only as a staff volunteer but also as a globally minded citizen.
