By this point in the trip, I was more than fully aware that my Spanish was not 100% equipped for the environment we were in. The smile that greeted my hesitant and slow comments was most illustrative of the kind-heartedness of the Mexican people.

We can all look back, and know that together, we made the difference. Each person I encountered on this trip came from a different family, a different background, and sometimes even a different country. Nevertheless, we all shared the same goals, and the same environment. No matter who we were, or where we came from, we were able to come together and share a common experience.
